"It's better than winning the lottery!" that response from a meditator to describe the fruits of meditation touches the heart of the gospel teaching.  We have to give up possessions to gain the kingdom.  Fr Laurence explains Christian Meditation as a way to 'set your mind' on God's kingdom above everything else.  In meditation, we leave self and all our possessions behind and simply be in God's loving presence.  The experience of God's love transforms our attitudes, our vision and our relationships.
